Dr. Zannis is a distinguished, board-certified plastic surgeon recognized by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he pursued a unique blend of interests, studying both Human Biology and Studio Art at Stanford University before advancing to medical school. He earned his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, later honing his surgical expertise during an intensive residency in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Wake Forest University. Under the mentorship of renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Louis Argenta, Dr. Zannis gained hands-on experience across a vast array of procedures.

Throughout his training, Dr. Zannis performed over 5,000 surgeries, mastering techniques in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. His repertoire spans facial and body aesthetic surgeries, intricate reconstructive work, cleft lip and palate surgery, hand surgery, facial fracture repair, and post-weight loss body contouring. His extensive background has made him particularly celebrated for his skill in cosmetic breast procedures, including breast augmentation and lift surgeries.

Beyond the operating room, Dr. Zannis is a lifelong learner and active participant in academic symposia nationwide, staying at the forefront of advancements in plastic surgery. His love of art history, especially the Renaissance era and visionaries like Leonardo da Vinci, was nurtured during his studies in Florence, Italy. When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Zannis is a dedicated family man, enjoying time with his wife and three children. His personal interests span travel, learning new languages, painting, and playing the guitar.
