Dr. Barnavon’s academic journey is as impressive as his career. He earned undergraduate degrees in both chemistry and business administration from the University of Florida before graduating from McGill University Medical School in 1984. His extensive training includes a general surgery residency and a surgical oncology research fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. In 1992, he completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, where he honed his skills in performing intricate breast and head and neck reconstructions at the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center.
