I cannot say enough about Dr Nick and his whole team of amazing healthcare givers. I researched more than a handful of plastic surgeons across the country to find my right fit from preop to postop for my skin removal surgery. After losing 192 pounds, I wanted to make sure that I had the right team for me as well as experts in working with people who have had extreme weight loss.

From the moment of consultation to now, just 6 moths post-op of an extended arm lift and body lift, I have been taken care of and treated as if I were the most important person in the world and they were on this journey with me. I felt heard and listened to and all my concerns and questions were addressed with honesty and professionalism.

The actual surgical work that was done on me was a long 9 hour process, but it was done meticulously and with great care. Whenever I had a question or concern pre or postop, a nurse was always available to answer my questions or ease my mind.

I am estatic with my results and will forever be grateful for the amazing work put into my body and making me feel more comfortable in my own skin after a huge weight loss. Simply amazing.

I had a body lift in 2015 after naturally losing 120lbs, had a breast lift in 2016, and came back to the amazing Dr. Nick this year for some “finishing touches” with an extended arm lift and lipo of my abdomen, outer thighs, arms, and mons. I’m 10 days out from my procedure and already couldn’t be happier. My incisions are perfectly placed and look amazing, my already-flat belly now has abdominal definition, and the extensive lipo bruising on my thighs is dissipating quickly- can’t wait to see what my thighs look like in six months! Aside from waking up from surgery with very little pain control (my body doesn’t respond to most pain meds, lucky me), my recovery has been smooth sailing with very little major pain or discomfort. Dr. Nick understands goals, listens, takes exceptional pride in his work, and clearly communicates realistic expectations. The entire nursing and office staff at CPS are second to none as well. I would recommend Dr. Nick to anyone!

I will start by saying that I would recommend Dr. Slenkovich to anyone contemplating which surgeon to have perform their rhinoplasty. I can say this confidently as the surgery he performed was my THIRD rhinoplasty, second revision, and second doctor.

My nose was crushed in a freak incident when I was a toddler. When I turned 17, I finally decided to get my nose repaired as my septum was completely bent, 90 degrees, horizontally, like a stair step. I had difficulty breathing and was getting migraines from that.

I found a ENT surgeon that could perform my surgery. 6 months after that first surgery, I was told that my nose was about 70% of what it could be and if I went in for a second surgery I could get it to closer to 90-95%. So I did. After the second surgery, that physician never saw me post op, I only saw his PA. I had no bridge; if you pushed on the top of my nose, it would concave. My septum was just as crooked, my nose was visibly deformed and my breathing no better. After a few years, and seeing photos from my brothers wedding, I decided to go in for another surgery.

I was extremely picky picking this surgeon. I did not want to undergo the recovery and healing period for another rhinoplasty for nothing. After consulting with other surgeons, I found Dr. Slenkovich. I was drawn to the 3-D model that he uses to plan and predict his surgery and outcomes. I also enjoyed watching his surgery videos, seeing his demeanor in the OR, his thought process while he works, and his expertise in action. Upon my first consultation with him, I was so impressed with his bedside manner, his humbleness, relatability, and how realistic he was with what to expect. That’s what you want with a surgeon, for them to be real. At that point, I didn’t want or expect a nose that looked like it had never been touched or injured or could be on a cover of a magazine. I wanted a nose that I could take a photo and not worry about the angle of my face so my botched nose wasn’t obvious. A nose that I wasn’t always thinking about and could more confidently look people in the eye. Dr. Slenkovich not only assured me he could get me there, but he could show me with his 3-D imaging.

The surgery with Dr. Slenkovich went off without a hitch. He has THE MOST comfortable pre-op/PACU area I have been in. Besides my other surgery’s, I am in nursing and have seen my share of surgery departments and his is exceptional. His nursing staff were top notch. They made me feel comfortable, safe, informed, and looked after. After the surgery, Dr. Slenkovich saw me 3 times in the month following, then again at the 6 month mark and 1 year. I was given complimentary lymphatic massages that helped tremendously with the swelling and pain.

Today, two years later, myself, friends and family are blown away at the results I’ve gotten. My dad calls it the, “best investment he has ever made.” My nose is straight, I have a bridge, and I CAN BREATH!!! I can take pictures without a thought of my nose. When I look in the mirror, I’m not staring at my flawed nose. When I meet new people, go to school, go to work, I am confident and hold my head high.

Dr. Slenkovich changed my life. I am so thankful to have discovered him and to have been able to have him do my nose. As I mentioned above, I will always recommend Dr. Slenkovich.

I was not referred by a friend. I researched and did my own homework to find Dr. S. I searched for talent that was local and close to home.
