Dr. Peters’ professional accomplishments include significant experience in reconstructive plastic surgery, including cranio-maxillofacial, breast, extremity, head and neck, and microsurgery. Dr. Peters is board certificated by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Peters trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the acclaimed Emory University Medical Center, where innovative plastic surgery techniques have been developed for over three decades. He earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and a degree in molecular biology and microbiology for his post-graduate studies at the University of Central Florida. Following graduation in 2000 from the University Of Florida College Of Medicine, Dr. Peters completed a five-year general surgery residency at the highly regarded University of Alabama Medical Center.

Dr. Peters is known for his careful attention to detail and his kind, caring, attentive bedside manner. He takes the time to educate his patients about their surgical options and ensures that all of their questions and concerns are addressed before, during, and after surgery. He places great value in the physician-patient relationship and offers the support needed to make his patients’ surgical experience exceptional. Dr. Peters is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is affiliated with Florida Hospital and Orlando Health. Dr. Peters also proudly serves as the immediate past president of the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons.
