Dr. Thao completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University, followed by an M.D. from University of Minnesota Medical School. He then completed a general surgery residency at St. John Hospital, Detroit, MI, and subsequent plastic surgery training in Akron, Ohio. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
